Description

The AWEA AF-1800 MAX is a high-performance C-Frame Vertical Machining Center designed for large-part precision machining. Featuring a 1,800 mm X-axis travel, 800 mm Y/Z-axis travel, and a 1,900 × 800 mm table, this machine supports workpieces up to 1,800 kg, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications. The machine is equipped with a direct-drive spindle upgraded to 12,000 RPM CAT40, delivering both high-speed cutting and excellent surface finishes. A 30-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) supports efficient tool management, while the 20-bar through-spindle coolant system ensures effective chip evacuation and longer tool life.

The AF-1800 MAX is built with pretensioned ball screws, spindle oil chiller, and air curtain design to minimize thermal deformation and maintain long-term accuracy. Its Fanuc Oi-MF PLUS CNC control, paired with a Renishaw graphical interface, offers user-friendly operation and high-speed data processing for complex machining. Additional features such as 3-axis automatic lubrication, roof-enclosed splash guard, rigid tapping, air blow system, and heat exchanger for the electrical cabinet improve performance, reliability, and safety.
