The Maxxtron G2532 is a high-performance 5-axis gantry machining center engineered for high-speed, high-precision machining of large and complex components. Combining a highly rigid cast structure, advanced 5-axis control and a powerful 24,000 RPM built-in spindle, the G2532 delivers the speed, stability and accuracy required for demanding precision manufacturing applications.
Designed around an integrated casting and rigid gantry configuration, the G2532 incorporates a double-beam and double-saddle structure supported by four linear guideways. This design helps minimize structural and thermal deformation during machining while maintaining excellent rigidity under demanding cutting conditions. A reinforced T-type base and fixed gantry structure further enhance machine stability and long-term machining accuracy.
The G2532 offers a generous 3,200 mm X-axis travel, 2,500 mm Y-axis travel and 1,100 mm Z-axis travel, with an optional 1,400 mm Z-axis configuration. Its large 3,400 × 2,800 mm worktable supports workpieces weighing up to 5,000 kg, providing substantial capacity for large-component machining.
At the heart of the machine is a 24,000 RPM HSK-A63 built-in spindle, delivering 30/37 kW of power and up to 88 Nm of torque. Combined with simultaneous 5-axis machining capability, the G2532 enables efficient machining of complex contours, deep cavities and multi-sided components while reducing setups and improving overall productivity.
Precision is enhanced through HEIDENHAIN linear scales on the three linear axes and high-accuracy ring scales on the rotary axes. The B/C-axis milling head provides extensive swivel capability, while TCPM multi-axis synchronous control manages the tool center point during simultaneous machining to improve toolpath accuracy and minimize unnecessary movement.
For manufacturers requiring greater dynamic performance, the G2532 can also be configured with linear motor drives on the X and Y axes, providing rapid traverse rates up to 70 m/min and cutting feed rates up to 20 m/min. Direct-drive technology eliminates conventional transmission backlash and provides fast response for high-speed machining.
