Description

The ZOPO SP2280F Double Column Machining Center is a large-capacity, heavy-duty CNC machining center engineered for high-precision machining of large and heavy components. Its rigid double-column structure, oversized work envelope, and high-load worktable make it well suited for applications requiring stability, accuracy, and powerful cutting performance.

The SP2280F provides an expansive 8200 × 2250 × 1250 mm (X/Y/Z) travel with a 2000 × 8000 mm worktable capable of supporting loads up to 25,000 kg. A 2400 mm distance between columns provides generous clearance for machining large workpieces.

For heavy machining performance, the machine is equipped with a CAT50 square-ram spindle operating up to 4,000 RPM, driven by a 30/37 kW FANUC spindle motor delivering up to 374 Nm of torque. The X and Y axes utilize roller-type linear guideways for responsive movement, while the Z-axis incorporates a hardened and ground box-guideway square ram with a large contact surface to increase rigidity during demanding cutting operations.

Controlled by the FANUC 0i-MF Plus CNC system with a 15-inch display, the SP2280F also incorporates features designed to improve productivity and machining reliability. The supplied configuration includes a 120-tool CAT50 vertical/horizontal tool magazine, automatic 90-degree head with head magazine, 70-bar through-spindle coolant, three-axis linear scales, chip evacuation system, oil cooler, oil skimmer, and full enclosure.
