Description

The GM2560-5L 5-Axis High-Speed Gantry Machining Center is a large-format, high-performance machining solution designed for precision processing of oversized and complex components. Featuring an expansive working envelope with 6,000 mm X-axis travel, 2,500 mm Y-axis travel, and 1,000 mm Z-axis travel (1,200 mm optional), along with a 6,000 × 2,500 mm fixed table capable of supporting 8 T/m², the machine delivers exceptional stability for heavy and long workpieces.

It is equipped with a high-speed HSK63A built-in spindle reaching 24,000 rpm, producing 60/75 kW (S1/S6) and up to 60.5 Nm of torque, making it ideal for high material removal rate applications such as aerospace and composite machining. The AGA fork-type 5-axis milling head provides ±120° B-axis movement and ±360° C-axis rotation with 4,000 Nm clamping torque, enabling precise simultaneous 5-axis contouring and undercut machining. Driven by linear motors on all X/Y/Z axes, the machine achieves rapid feedrates of 60 m/min with zero backlash and high acceleration, supported by Heidenhain optical scales and the TNC640 5-axis CNC controller with advanced TCPM and high-speed interpolation functions.

Its rigid gantry structure, FEM-optimized design, patented box-in-box construction, FCD600 cast iron ram, and Z-axis counterbalance system ensure outstanding geometric accuracy, thermal stability, and vibration control. With a standard 30-tool HSK63A automatic tool changer (60 tools optional) and support for advanced probing and tool measurement systems, the GM2560-5L is engineered to deliver high precision, dynamic performance, and long-term reliability for demanding aerospace, mold, and heavy industrial machining applications.
