Its gantry structure features a mobile crossbeam supported by fixed concrete-mounted components to effectively dampen vibrations and enhance geometric stability. The moving assemblies—slide, carriage, and crossbar—are built from mechanically welded steel, optimized to reduce moving mass while maintaining high structural stiffness. The machine is secured to the floor at multiple anchor points for uniform load distribution and maximum rigidity.
Available in two drive configurations, the X-axis can be powered by either a rack and pinion system (KXG-P) with dual planetary servo gearboxes and electronic preload for backlash elimination, or by a linear motor system (KXG-L), which delivers high acceleration, reduced wear, and superior thermal stability through water-cooled direct drive technology.
The Y and Z axes are driven by high-precision ball screws, supported by recirculating roller bearings, with absolute linear scale measurement ensuring micron-level accuracy per VDI/DGQ 3441 standards. The fork-type head integrates two orthogonal axes (B and C), both directly driven by torque motors with angular encoders for high-speed, backlash-free movement, capable of achieving negative angles and continuous 5-axis operation.
A high-torque spindle ensures maximum chip removal and is safeguarded by a vibration monitoring system that protects the spindle, cutting tools, and the part during aggressive roughing or high-speed finishing. The numerical control system offers an intuitive interface with powerful processing capabilities, interactive programming, and graphical simulation to optimize part programs before execution.
