AWEA EP-5016YF BRIDGE TYPE MILLING CENTER

Description

AWEA EP Series – High-Performance Bridge-Type Vertical Machining Centers for Heavy-Duty Precision
The AWEA EP Series Bridge-Type Vertical Machining Center is engineered for high-precision, heavy-duty cutting with an extra-large machining area and five-face machining capability. Designed with over 30 years of expertise, this next-generation machining center delivers exceptional rigidity, accuracy, and stability, making it an ideal choice for aerospace, automotive, mold-making, and large-scale manufacturing industries.

Equipped with a modular spindle system, the EP Series offers a 642 Nm high-torque gear spindle for heavy cutting and high-speed direct-drive spindles (8,000 / 10,000 RPM) for precision machining. Its super-rigid roller-type linear guideways on the X and Y axes ensure heavy-duty cutting, fast movement, and low wear, while the abundant Z-axis travel (760 mm, optional 1,000 mm) with boxway design makes it highly suitable for demanding applications.

The AWEA EP Series also features a center-symmetric spindle head design to minimize deflection, ensuring consistent accuracy even under extreme loads. With a finite element analysis (FEM)-optimized structure, this high-performance machining center maintains long-term precision and durability, even in continuous heavy-cutting operations.

For manufacturers in Ontario, Quebec, Montreal, and Windsor, the AWEA EP Series offers the perfect balance of high-speed machining, heavy-duty capability, and five-face cutting versatility, making it the ideal solution for large-scale and precision machining applications.
