The APEC G2540 is an advanced 5-axis high-speed gantry machining center designed for machining large, complex, and high-precision components in industries such as aerospace, die/mold, and aluminum structural parts. Equipped with a powerful 15,000 RPM HSK100A spindle and a 2-axis fork-type milling head, the G2540 delivers high-speed simultaneous 5-axis machining. Its direct-drive torque motors on B and C axes enable ultra-precise, backlash-free motion, while minimizing thermal displacement for long-cycle accuracy. The Heidenhain TNC640 CNC control system further enhances high-speed processing, intuitive programming, and precision part production.
The G2540 features a large working envelope of X: 4,000 mm, Y: 2,500 mm, Z: up to 1,200 mm, making it ideal for oversized aerospace structures and precision molds. Built for performance and flexibility, it is fitted with a 60-tool HSK100A automatic tool changer (ATC), high-speed linear drives, and advanced thermal compensation to ensure consistent performance across high-mix production.
