The GLS-3000YS is a high-performance CNC turning center built for manufacturers who need more than just turning capability. Designed with a Y-axis, live tooling, and sub-spindle, this machine is ideal for shops looking to complete complex parts in a single setup while reducing cycle times and improving overall productivity. With its ability to handle turning, milling, drilling, and off-center machining operations, the GLS-3000YS offers the flexibility required for today’s demanding multitasking applications.
At the core of the machine is a powerful FANUC-controlled platform, paired with a 3,500 RPM main spindle, 5,000 RPM sub-spindle, and a 12-station live servo turret capable of 6,000 RPM live tooling performance. The addition of 100 mm Y-axis travel expands the machine’s capability beyond traditional turning, allowing for more intricate part features, secondary milling operations, and improved machining versatility. A full C-axis with disk brake on the main spindle further enhances precision for indexed and interpolated machining applications.
Engineered for stability and repeatability, the GLS-3000YS features linear guideways, FANUC AC servo motors with absolute encoders, and a direct belt-driven spindle system that delivers smooth cutting performance and dependable accuracy. The machine is also equipped with a 10-inch big-bore power chuck, 2-inch bar capacity on the sub-spindle, and a high-pressure coolant system, making it well suited for a wide range of production environments and part geometries.
