Description

The GM2580-5L 5-Axis High-Speed Gantry Machining Center is a large-format, high-performance CNC solution engineered for precision machining of oversized and complex components in aerospace, mold & die, energy, transportation, and heavy industry applications. Featuring an expansive 8,000 mm X-axis travel, 2,500 mm Y-axis travel, and 1,000 mm Z-axis travel (1,200 mm optional), combined with a massive 8,000 × 2,500 mm fixed table capable of handling 8 T/m², the GM2580 delivers exceptional stability and load capacity for large structural parts, aluminum aerospace frames, composite panels, and heavy steel components

Equipped with a high-speed HSK63A built-in spindle reaching 24,000 rpm and producing 60/75 kW (S1/S6) with up to 60.5 Nm torque, the machine is optimized for high material removal rate (MRR) machining, particularly in aerospace and composite applications.

The AGA fork-type 5-axis milling head provides ±120° B-axis swivel and ±360° C-axis rotation with 4,000 Nm clamping torque, enabling simultaneous 5-axis contouring, free-form surface machining, and undercut processing with superior rigidity. Driven by linear motors on X/Y/Z axes with rapid feedrates up to 60 m/min and supported by Heidenhain optical scales and the TNC640 5-axis CNC controller with TCPM, look-ahead, and high-speed interpolation, the GM2580 ensures exceptional positioning accuracy, thermal stability, and dynamic performance.
